River Arts main gallery, located at 241 Route 1 in Damariscotta, is showing a new juried exhibition, “Black White Gray,” which runs through Feb. 20.
The show includes work in a wide variety of subject matter, media and styles, including painting, encaustics, photography, sculpture, ceramics and fiber.
The show represents work selected by the artists and submitted for jurying.
The juror for the exhibition is Bob Keyes, a visual and performing arts feature writer for the Portland Press Herald/Maine Sunday Telegram.
River Arts is a nonprofit art center on Route One in Damariscotta. It holds about 10 juried shows each year, which are open to any artist who would like to enter work.
River Arts is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays.
