Cape Elizabeth school budget’s tax increase less than expected at 6.3%
The proposed $34.2 million school budget includes an increase to $530,000 for facilities and a new ed tech position for the middle school.
South Portland’s final budget proposal carries property tax increase of 4.2%
The combined municipal and school budget includes funding for Cottage Road improvements, a new fire truck and a number of new teaching positions.
