Contributions for and against Question 2: "An Act To Establish The Fund to Advance Public Education"
This database shows includes the political action committees, ballot question committees and individuals who gave money to support or defeat ballot Question 2, an act to fund public K-12 education with an income tax surcharge on high-income individuals.
The data was drawn from campaign finance reports filed with the Maine Ethics Commission for the third quarter of 2016. The contributions were made during the months of July, August and September.
