Hilary Campbell, widow of the late Maine State Police Detective Benjamin Campbell, hugs Maine State Police Lt. Col. William Harwood Thursday during the annual Maine Law Enforcement Officers Service in Augusta. The name of Detective Campbell, who was killed in an accident April 3, will be inscribed on the memorial next year.

Tom Cole sings a song about his brother, Cpl. Eugene Cole, on Thursday during the annual Maine Law Enforcement Officers Service in Augusta. A deputy with the Somerset County Sheriff's Office, Eugene Cole was killed April 25, 2018, in Norridgewock. His name is now inscribed on the memorial.
