Tasia Titherington of Deering was among the SMAA’s statistical leaders in several categories as a freshman and has continued to improve as a sophomore, helping the Rams become a contender in Western Class A.
After serving as Deering’s primary point guard during her freshman season, Tasia Titherington is now playing a more diversified role. “I think not being a point guard all the time actually helps me,” said Titherington.
Alisha Aube, left, of Westbrook, is the leading scorer in the SMAA, averaging 19.5 points for a much-improved team.
Deering’s Amanda Brett has developed into one of the top inside players in the SMAA.
