Freeport High School Senior Rosie Panenka was recently awarded a $2,500 scholarship from ConvenientMD Urgent Care. Meetinghouse Arts to debut community art project this weekend
From May 25 through June 8, Freeport residents can submit photos, drawings and writings related to anything distinctive in the town. Selected work will then be put on exhibit in the fall. The new program follows a $5,000 grant awarded to Meetinghouse Arts, which, among other initiatives, plans to use a projector in the exhibition stage of the project.
