Today’s snow storm has prompted a number of postponements in the high school basketball tournaments throughout the state. The following is the schedule at the three venues:

In Portland (Cumberland County Civic Center)

The semifinals for the Western Class A girls tournament scheduled for today have now been moved to Saturday with the Western Class A championship games for boys and girls pushed to Monday.

Saturday’s schedule is as follows:

Western B girls regional final, Leavitt vs. York, at 2 p.m.;

Western B boys regional final, Yarmouth vs. Cape Elizabeth 3:45 p.m.

Western A girls semifinals, Sanford vs. Deering at 7 p.m., followed by Gorham vs. McAuley 8:30 p.m.

Monday’s schedule is as follows:

Western A girls regional final at 6 p.m., followed by the  the Western A boys regional final between Cheverus and Bonny Eagle at 8 p.m.

 

In Augusta (Augusta Civic Center)

Saturday’s schedule remains intact. The two Eastern Class A regional finals scheduled for today will be moved to Monday with the girls (Messalonskee vs. Hampden Academy) at 6:05 p.m. and the boys (Edward Little vs. Bangor) at 7:45 p.m.

In Bangor (Bangor Auditorium)

The two Eastern Class C girls’ semifinals will be played today: Washington Academy vs. Central at 2 p.m. and Dexter vs. Orono at 3:35 p.m.

Saturday’s schedule is as follows:

Eastern C boys semifinals: Sumner vs. Penobscot 9:05 a.m.; Penquis vs. Lee 10:35 a.m.

Eastern D girls final: Deer Isle vs. Washburn 2:05 p.m.

Eastern D boys final: Jonesport-Beals vs. Central Aroostook 3:45 p.m.

Eastern B girls final: Medomak Valley vs. Nokomis 7:05 p.m..

Eastern B boys final: Ellsworth vs. Camden Hills 8:45 p.m.

On Monday the Eastern Class C finals will be played with the girls at 4:05 p.m. and the boys at 5:45 p.m.
