The University of Southern Maine canceled all classes and events at its Gorham and Portland campuses on Tuesday. Offices in Gorham and Portland were also closed for the day. The university said it would resume a normal schedule on Wednesday.
Portland Schools announced there would be no school on Tuesday at Hall Elementary School, Casco Bay High School and Portland Arts and Technology High School due to power outages caused by the storm. All other schools were operating with normal hours.
