Business technology services firm Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. Inc. has acquired SymQuest Group, a managed services provider based in Westbrook and South Burlington, Vermont, the company said Wednesday.

As a wholly owned subsidiary of Konica Minolta Business Solutions, SymQuest Group will continue to operate under the leadership of co-founder Larry Sudbay, it said in a news release.

As part of the agreement, SymQuest Group’s dual headquarters will remain in Westbrook and South Burlington, and the company will retain all of its 186 employees throughout various branch offices and data centers, the company said.

Based in Ramsey, New Jersey, Konica Minolta Business Solutions provides services that help businesses manage their technology costs and optimize technology to increase productivity. The company is a subsidiary of Konica Minolta Inc., a Japanese maker of business and industrial imaging products such as copiers, laser printers and medical imaging devices.
