WELLS – Motorists are being warned of a vehicle on fire on the Maine Turnpike in Wells, between Exit 19 in Wells and Exit 25 in Kennebunk.

The car fire was reported Monday in the northbound lane of the turnpike at 3:38 p.m. The travel lanes were reopened by 4:05 p.m. but the Turnpike Authority is urging motorists to use caution in the area.
