A hard-core New England Patriots’ fan who gave a piece of his mind to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell last month by hiring a pilot and plane to pull two giant banners over Goodell’s Scarborough house struck again Sunday.

The banner read:  “Finally Lets Play Football – Go Pat’s.”

Saturday’s  banner flew over Scarborough and nearby beaches around noon Saturday and read: “Roger G. Feelin A Little Deflated?”

Richard Pate of Biddeford first used the banners to chide Goodell after the commissioner’s controversial decision to suspend Pats’ quarterback Tom Brady for four games for deflating footballs.

Pate’s first banner said, “Comm. Goodell Jet home to N.Y.”

His second, which appeared on Tom Brady’s birthday, said, “Happy B-day T Brady from Maine and Roger G.”

Pate decided to fly the latest banner on Saturday after a judge on Thursday threw out the four-game suspension and the NFL announced it would appeal.

It’s not clear if Goodell was at his home in the exclusive Prouts Neck neighborhood when any of Pate’s banners flew over.

Pate has declined to say how much he spent on the banners, but the company he hired – Screaming Eagle Aviation in Biddeford – advertises one-hour banner ad flights at $450.
