The good news is that Wayfair, Inc., is bringing approximately 1,000 jobs to Maine and is occupying empty commercial real estate!
The bad news is that the Portland Press Herald once again sees the glass as half empty and points out all the potential obstacles that Wayfair may encounter in filling these jobs (“Tight labor markets await Wayfair’s expansion to Maine,” March 3).
And, of course, the Press Herald highlights all of Wayfair’s “shortcomings” as to not providing the public with salary ranges and job specifics, at this time.
Talk about getting lemonade and turning it into bitter lemons.
