Purposeful, decisive and inclusive – that is Kim Rich.
We met after learning that we were the two Portland participants for this year’s Emerge Maine class. Upon meeting her I discovered an infectious energy and passion. I was nervous to address the Portland City Council for the first time ever and she said, “I’ll go with you, I’ll introduce you, I’m with you.”
The level of unconditional support I received from someone I hardly knew helped improve my confidence and made my first experience speaking to the council a positive one.
Kim demonstrates a strong desire to bring about change within our City Council. She will actively seek out her community’s ideas, concerns and will work on our behalf to make change happen.
I am thrilled to endorse Kim Rich as our next District 4 City Council member and look forward to her voice representing me, my family and my district.
