PHOTO: Golf in December

Bob Preston sinks his putt on the second hole as Jim Harris, center, and Don Harriman, help to will it in Tuesday at Rivermeadow Golf Course in Westbrook. The greens were rock hard and it was difficult to put tees into the ground, but the men said they enjoy playing golf until it snows.

Wednesday will be mild again, with showers ending.
