BIDDEFORD - Meghan Gribbin scored 17 points for the University of New England, which stayed undefeated in the Commonwealth Coast Conference with a 56-46 women's basketball victory against Curry on Tuesday night.
The Nor'Easters broke a 36-all tie in the second half with a 14-1 run.
UNE's Beth Suggs contributed 14 points and 15 rebounds, and was 8 of 9 at the line.
USM 60, COLBY 54: Jordan Grant had 25 points as 17th-ranked Southern Maine (19-1) held off the Mules (7-12) at Waterville.
Rebecca Knight added 15 points for USM,
Colby standout Diana Manduca, formerly of Deering High, had 17 points, including a late 3-point shot that gave her 1,000 career points in her four years.
BOWDOIN 61, EASTERN CONNECTICUT 50: Kaitlin Donahoe scored 15 points as the Polar Bears (11-8) defeated the Warriors (7-13) at Willimantic, Conn.
Sara Binkhorst chipped in 13 points with six rebounds and Shannon Brady had nine points for Bowdoin.
BATES 77, ST. JOSEPH'S 58: Taryn O'Connell made three 3-point jumpers in the second half as Bates (9-9) rallied to defeat St. Joseph's (12-7) at Standish.
Allie Beaulieu was the Bobcats' leading scorer with 19 points, and O'Connell finished with 14 points and 10 boards.
The Monks were led by Abby Young, who came off the bench to score 18 points.
(3) UCONN 76, VILLANOVA 43: Stefanie Dolson scored 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the Huskies (19-1, 6-1 Big East) at Hartford, Conn.
(25) DELAWARE 77, NORTHEASTERN 50: Elena Delle Donne scored 26 points as Delaware (16-3, 7-0 CAA) won its 11th game in a row with a rout at Newark, Del.
Delle Donne, a 6-foot-5 senior All-American, is averaging 24.5 points per game after missing six games while dealing with the effects of Lyme Disease.
USM 70, COLBY 50: Conor Sullivan had 12 points to lead the Huskies (13-7) over the Mules (6-13) at Waterville.
Alex Kee and Sean Bergeron each scored 10 for USM, which had 18 steals in the game by using an aggressive half-court defense.
BATES 81, HUSSON 51: Luke Matarazzo had 17 points, and Ed Bogdanovich contributed 15 points and 11 rebounds as the Bobcats (8-12) cruised past the Eagles (12-6) at Lewiston.
Mark Brust recorded 11 points with nine boards and Sean Cunningham scored 10 points for Bates.
BOWDOIN 93, THOMAS 43: Andrew Madlinger led four Polar Bears in double-digit scoring with 23 points as Bowdoin (12-6) routed the Terriers (8-9) at Brunswick.
CURRY 66, UNE 38: Curry College (13-6, 10-2 CCC) won easily, beating the Nor'easters (4-15, 3-9) at Biddeford.
Devin Thompson was the only UNE player in double figures with 13 points.
(11) OHIO STATE 58, WISCONSIN 49: Deshaun Thomas scored 25 points, including 10 during a game-breaking 15-0 second-half run, to lead the Buckeyes (16-4, 6-2 Big Ten) at Columbus, Ohio.
INDIANA STATE 68, (15) WICHITA STATE 55: Manny Arop scored 17 points, including a celebratory slam in the final minute, to lead Indiana State (14-7, 7-3 Missouri Valley) to an upset at Wichita, Kan.
Wichita State (19-3, 8-2) shot just 27 percent from the field.
VIRGINIA 58, (19) NORTH CAROLINA STATE 55: Joe Harris scored 22 points, seven during a game-ending 13-6 run as the Cavaliers (15-5, 5-2 ACC) won at Charlottesville, Va.
COLBY 2, UNE 2: Ben Chwick scored with 5.9 seconds left in regulation as the Mules (3-13-2) tied the Nor'easters (5-13-1).
Nick Kolb put UNE up in the first period; Nick Trepp answered for Colby. Jared Melman gave UNE a lead in the second.
UNE goalie Ian Edwards turned in 27 saves. Jordan Nathan had 21 stops for Colby.
COLBY 4, USM 2: Annie Papadellis scored the game-winning goal on a power play in the third period to give Colby (7-12-0) a win over Southern Maine (4-10-5) at Gorham.
Katie Teng opened the scoring for the Mules in the second period, but the Huskies responded with goals by Maggie Lane and Katie Davies.
Colby came back in the third with goals by Megan Fortier, Samantha Slotnick and Papadellis' game-winner.
