The expected blizzard for Maine has caused postponements for the two winter pro sports teams.
The Maine Red Claws of the D-League postponed today’s game with the Springfield Armor at the Portland Expo. The Armor lost Saturday night 109-105 in Fort Wayne, Ind., and were unable to reach Maine after their flight was canceled by snow. The game will be played 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Expo.
The Pirates’ AHL game at Worcester, Mass., was also postponed by the storm. It has been rescheduled for Jan. 18.
