Cape Elizabeth won its second Western Class B boys’ basketball title in three seasons with a 61-47 victory over Yarmouth on Saturday afternoon at the Cumberland County Civic Center.
Joey Doane scored 20 points and Theo Bowe added 19 as the Capers took an early lead and never trailed.
Cape will play either Camden Hills or Ellsworth for the state title at 8 p.m. Friday at the Civic Center.
