FALMOUTH – Liv Chap scored three goals, and Mica Thompson and Sadie Cole added two apiece Thursday to lead Waynflete to a 12-8 victory against Falmouth in a schoolgirl lacrosse game.

Jess DiPhilippo led Falmouth (5-4) with three goals against the Flyers (8-1). Laura Fay scored twice.

KENNEBUNK 13, CHEVERUS 2: Taylor Crowley finished with six goals and one assist to lead the Rams (9-1) past the Stags (1-8) at Kennebunk.

Kate Graydon added four goals and Kellie Renk made six saves for Kennebunk.

DEERING 12, BONNY EAGLE 11: Veronica Mitchell scored six goals for the Rams (3-6), who held off the Scots (3-5) at Portland.

Lilly Worthley finished with 12 saves for Deering, which never trailed.

WELLS 17, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 2: Jennie Li and Kelly Beisswanger each had five goals as the Warriors (3-4) handled the Raiders (0-7) at Fryeburg.

Kendra Fox and Brenna Gerchman scored for Fryeburg.

GREELY 7, FREEPORT 6: Meg Finlay finished with two goals and an assist to lead the Rangers (4-4) past the Falcons (5-4) at Cumberland.

Jess Hench scored three goals, and Aubrey Pennell added a goal and an assist for Freeport.

YARMOUTH 8, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 5: Devin Simsarian collected three goals to lead the Clippers (8-1) over the visiting Panthers (4-5) at Yarmouth.

Lindsey Purpura and Becca Bell added two goals apiece for Yarmouth.

CAPE ELIZABETH 15, YORK 12: Anna Darling and Tally Perkins each had four goals as the Capers (5-3) topped the Wildcats (3-4) at York.

Lauren Steidl, Paris Bethel and Janessa White collected two goals each for Cape Elizabeth.


WAYNFLETE 12, WELLS 3: Matt Butler scored four goals, and Chris Burke added two goals and one assist to lead the Flyers (8-2) over the Warriors (3-4) at Wells.

Spencer Sibley finished with two goals and an assist for Wells.

GREELY 18, LINCOLN ACADEMY 1: Matt Crowley finished with one goal and two assists as the Rangers (6-3) beat the Eagles (3-6) at Brunswick.


MASSABESIC 6, KENNEBUNK 1: Hunter Duncan struck out eight and walked one in a four-hitter, and also had a pair of hits, including a double, to lead the Mustangs (2-9) over the Rams (3-8) at Kennebunk.

Jake Pelchat also had two hits for Massabesic, including a two-run single in a five-run fourth inning.

BONNY EAGLE 6, SANFORD 2: Nate Peasley had a pair of hits, including a two-run single in a three-run fourth inning, and Nick Cawood added an RBI double to lead the Scots (2-8) past the Redskins (0-10) at Sanford.

Matt Wheeler struck out five and walked three in a three-hitter for Bonny Eagle.

THORNTON ACADEMY 7, NOBLE 3: Mike Mynahan hit a two-run single to spark a four-run first inning for the Trojans (6-4) against the Knights (1-11) at North Berwick.

Zach Oliviera added two hits, including a double, drove in one run and scored once for the Trojans.


SANFORD 10, MARSHWOOD 4: The Redskins (7-4) scored eight runs in the fifth inning and went on to beat the Hawks (3-9) at Sanford.
