6/26 at 4:23 p.m. Shenee M. Foster, 22, of Yarmouth, was arrested on Maine Mall Road by Officer Andrew Nelson on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

6/27 at 7:08 p.m. Justin Thomas Vadas, 32, of South Portland, was arrested on McKinley Street by Officer Chris Schofield on a warrant.

6/28 at 12:53 p.m. Matthew M. Mason, 28, of Buxton, was arrested on Broadway by Officer Shane Stephenson on a charge of violating conditions of release.

6/24 at 6:45 p.m. A 17-year-old girl, of South Portland, was issued a summons on School Street by Officer Scott Corbett on a charge of domestic-violence assault.

6/25 at 3:33 p.m. Caroline E. Anderson, 56, of Sanford, was issued a summons on Broadway by Officer Jeff Levesque on a charge of operating after suspension.

6/28 at 6:32 a.m. Police say a motorist reported a fight on Western Avenue near Maine Mall Road. When officers arrived, they reportedly observed two men engaged in a shoving match, which appeared to be about one of the men smoking on a bus. John McLean, 31, of Portland, was arrested on a charge of assault.

Big lift, big arrest

6/30 at 1:37 p.m. Police responded to a complaint of shoplifting from a Maine Mall business, where the alleged thieves were being held by employees. Police said the three young adults were accused of stealing more than $1,000 worth of goods, primarily jewelry. When police arrived, Thomas Brault, 22, of Portland, was arrested and charged with theft, violating condition of release, and on a warrant. Matthew Meade and Aurora Smith, both 22, of Portland, were each arrested on a charge of theft.
