The Greenlaw women are at it again. “The Maine Summers Cookbook: Recipes for Delicious, Sun-Filled Days” (Viking Studio, $30) is the latest from swordfish boat captain and author Linda Greenlaw and her mother, Martha.

There are some swordfish preparations, of course –Linda’s Blackened Swordfish with Blueberry Chutney sounds amazing – but you’ll also want to try the red crab salad, made with sustainably harvested Atlantic deep-sea red crab, and the blue cheese burgers with bourbon-black tea ketchup.

All the recipes are accompanied by musings of mother and daughter about life on Isle au Haut, with a few longer essays by Linda in between.

There are mostly Greenlaw family dishes here, but also plenty of contributed recipes from friends, neighbors and Maine businesses, including the town librarian (Brenda’s Famous Crab Dip), the Black Dinah Cafe (doughnuts), Twenty 2 Vodka (Strawberry-Mint Sparkling Lemonade) and the Inn at Isle au Haut (Lemon-Blueberry Mousse Tart).
