William J. Lambert, 71, of South Portland, died on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011 at Maine Medical Center. The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the medical staff at Maine Medical Center, especially the nurses on the seventh floor of the Cardiac Unit for treating Bubba with dignity and care during his final hospital stay. In keeping with Bubba’s final wishes, there will be a celebration of his life on Oct. 9, 2011 at the Italian Heritage Center located at 40 Westland Road, Portland, from 1-5 p.m. All are welcome to come and help us remember an amazing life and an amazing man.
