Carie leaves behind her spouse, Peter Allan Eck of 14 years, and her beautiful daughters Lindsay and Allison. Carie is the oldest child of Scott and Althea Kinney Walker Sr.
Carie graduated from Brunswick High School in 1994 and was a lifelong member of the community.
She devoted all of her time and energy to her husband and daughters, her family and her friends. Carie’s family was the center of her universe and she built her life around them.
Besides her mother and father, Scott and Althea Walker and her daughters, Lindsay and Allison Eck, she is survived by her sister Jessica and her husband David Libby of Scarbourough, a brother, Scott and Kristina Walker of Falmouth, and a sister Sarah Walker Meade of Brunswick.
She will be greatly missed by her beloved neices and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and a huge family.
She was the proud owner of her own business; Carie’s Family Child Care. She dedicated her life to taking care of her own two daughters as well as other people’s children and provided a loving, supportive environment for many families.
There was nothing that Carie enjoyed more than being with her family and friends. Please join us for a celebration of her life on Friday, December 30th from 4PM to 8PM at the home of her parents, Scott and Althea Walker at 38 Range Road, Brunswick. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Peter and the girls to help with the transition as they struggle to make this difficult transition.
