To the editor:

I’m so glad that the Brunswick Town Council voted to ban the sale and personal use of fireworks in town.

Fireworks are dangerous in the wrong hands. As a child, I was hurt by a “Kicking Mule.” I still have a hole on my foot.

I would not let my children have them when they were small.

Fireworks should only be handled by professionals. Firework displays are the only way to watch them.

For once, the Town Council has done something right.
