TOPSHAM — The Mt. Ararat High School jayvee boys basketball team fell to Lewiston 60-46 on Tuesday.

The host Eagles trailed 21-10, 34-24 and 45-36 at the period breaks.

Mason Griffin led the Eagles with 14 points, while Lewiston’s Shuaib Naji had 14.

At the foul line, Mt. Ararat was nine of 20 and Lewiston five of eight.

In the rebounding department, Jake Demosthenes had eight and Griffin seven, while playing well for Mt. Ararat off the bench was Griffin Stockford with five rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Mt. Ararat is 3-4.
