LEBANON – A woman was the victim of an armed intruder at her home Friday afternoon, the York County Sheriff’s Office said.

According to the sheriff’s office, the woman was alone at her home on Kennebec Drive about 2:30 p.m. Friday when she saw the silhouette of a man at her front door. She went to the door and instinctively unlocked it as she tried to see who was there, the sheriff’s office said.

At that point, the man forced his way into the house, showed the woman that he had a gun and demanded drugs, the sheriff’s office said. The woman said she didn’t have any drugs, but the man began to search the house while threatening the woman with the gun.

The woman was able to run from the house when the intruder was distracted, and she called the sheriff’s office. The man, she said, ran from her house toward Comanche Lane.

The intruder was wearing a white knit stocking mask with two eye holes. He was described as white, 20 to 30 years old, with a slim build and wearing jeans and a denim jacket.

The sheriff’s office said they’ve made no arrest and are continuing their investigation.
