BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick High School freshman boys basketball squad beat Mt. Ararat on Thursday 49-39 to finish the season 13-2.

Pearson Cost led all scorers with 21 points and Alex Bandouveres had 17. Cam Glover, Eric Kousky, Brad Leeman and Cody Libby played well defensively. Other team members who contributed were Justin Praither, Ian Schlosser, Isaac Hughes, Taran Payne, Mitchell Smith, Ryan Croatti and Fynn Arthur.

Smith led the team with taking charges and received the “Ironman Award” for the year.
