AUGUSTA — On March 30, Women Unlimited will be hosting the Construction Careers Options Fair from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Senator Inn in Augusta.
According to a news release, the public is invited to meet representatives from some of the state’s largest construction companies as well other local employers. Anyone wanting to work in construction is invited to attend.
The event is free.
Also, Women Unlimited will be hosting the Maine Tradeswomen’s Conference at the Capital Area Technical Center on March 31 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. There is a nominal fee associated with the conference.
The conference will have a large variety of workshops dealing with the trades, career building resources, next steps and tradeswomen speakers, as well as visual and interview opportunities.
