While still a teenager, she left her home in Alabama for Nashville. She worked with Nashville stalwarts Ralph Emory, songwriter Bob Tubert, and singer George Jones. After five albums, she adapted her Nashville sound to a more mainstream style. Following two self-produced albums, she made her acting debut as Johnny Cash’s mother in the 2005 film, “Walk the Line.” Tickets to the all-ages show cost $35 per person. For details, call 761-1757.
