KEYBANK MAINE and Women, Work, and Community (WWC) collaborated on a statewide training program called Credit Yourself, a four-module program for participants who want to learn good use of credit and to set financial goals. KeyBank provided the funding, while WWC facilitated the training. Participants who completed the modules and wrote a financial plan were eligible to apply for a $250 award to assist in achieving their goals. Credit Yourself was offered in Maine for three years, and a drawing resulted in 10 award winners throughout the state, including Michelle Sanborn, the Bath area recipient, left, who accepted her check from Lisa Dunning, manager of KeyBank’s Bath branch, on May 23.
