EUGENE, Ore. — In the semifinals of the men’s 5,000 at the U.S. Olympic track and field trials Monday, Ben True of North Yarmouth set the pace for most of his heat.
The former Dartmouth College standout finished third behind Lopez Lomong and Bernard Lagat to earn a spot in the final on Thursday. True’s time was 13:43.12.
