BRUNSWICK — The 10th annual Brunswick Garden Tour will take place from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. July 8.

The tour will consist of nine Brunswick gardens, several of which have never previously appeared on the tour. All proceeds will benefit Midcoast Youth Theater.

This year’s tour features a stop at the new Harriet Beecher Stowe Elementary School garden. Students in second through fifth grades prepared and cultivated the garden. The produce will be harvested in the fall and given to the school’s culinary staff for use in school lunches.

Another stop is the Tom Settlemire Community Garden on Maurice Drive. The Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust owns and runs the community garden, which offers 70 plots for individual cultivation and a shared garden where plot holders volunteer to raise produce that will be donated to the Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program or served at a benefit fall harvest dinner.

Advance tickets cost $10 and are available at the Gulf Of Maine Bookstore on Maine Street. Tickets on the day of the tour cost $12. They will be available at the gazebo on the Brunswick Mall.

Rain date is July 15.
