WISCASSET — St. Philip’s Episcopal Church on Hodge Street will host its 60th annual strawberry festival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
Strawberry treats available for purchase include shortcakes with real whipped cream, chocolate-dipped berries, jam and ice cream cones.
Amazing Lou, a magician, will stage a family-friendly show at 11 a.m. He then plans to stroll the church grounds to entertain folks with balloon animals and more sleight of hand.
Other activities include music, a children’s area, silent auction, plant sale, craft show, hot dog stand, lunchroom, Knit-and-Stitch Table and pie auction, which will start at noon.
