WESTPORT ISLAND — Marguerite Lillian Quimby and Ronald LaForest Harrison Jr., both of Westport Island, wish to announce their engagement.

Quimby, daughter of Robin Melancon-Quimby and the late Gregory Quimby of Starks, graduated from Madison High School and Post University, and is currently employed in the social mental health field.

Harrison, nephew of Janette Gleason (a special aunt) of Newcastle, graduated from Wiscasset High School and Post University, and is an E-5 with the U.S. Navy, stationed in Maine.

Their wedding was planned for Aug. 4, 2012, in Newcastle.
