AUBURN — The University of Maine-Machias men’s soccer team played Central Maine Community College in recent action and continued its domination in Yankee Conference play, picking up a 5-0 victory.
MMA got a goal each from standout forward Tyler Troup and Mikey Solares for a 2-0 halftime lead.
The second half began with Stefan Zalucky chipping a ball over the CMCC goalkeeper for the Clippers’ third goal. Tyler Pelletier of Topsham added another goal in the 89th minute, and Bruce Asri followed a rebounded shot off the goalkeeper and tucked away the Clippers’ last goal in stoppage time to cap off the game.
The Clippers remained undefeated in conference play with an 11-0 record and No. 1 spot in the East Division.
