FREEPORT (AP) — Breaker one-nine, L.L. Bean’s Bootmobile is leading an art car convoy.

The four-wheeled Bootmobile created to celebrate the outdoor retailer’s 100th anniversary will head up Interstate 95 today, followed by the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile and promotional vehicles from Lindt chocolates and Peeps marshmallow candies.

They’re starting in Kennebunk en route to Freeport, where the four cars will convene Saturday.

L.L. Bean is calling it the “art car campout” with hot dogs, chocolates and marshmallows. The vehicles will be on display starting Saturday outside L.L. Bean’s flagship store.
