George Mitropoulos, 82, of Rochester, died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer. Friends are invited to call Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Ave., Dover, where Rev. Dr. Costin Popescu will conduct the Trisagion service at 5 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Locust Street, Dover. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery.
