TOPSHAM — The Mt. Ararat High School jayvee boys soccer team tied Bangor 1-1 on Friday.

Evan Thibeault converted a Stefan Peters feed for the lone Eagles goal.

Playing well for 8-2-1 Mt. Ararat were Sean Bolduc, Trevor Mayo, Ben Bishop, Eli Timberlake, Alex Halliday, Justin Pierce and Mason Griffin.

Jon Roux made five saves in goal for the Eagles, who are scheduled to visit Edward Little today.
