Alison W. Harding, 27, of 24 Maple St., was arrested Jan. 9 and charged with theft and violating conditions of release.
Topsham Police Chief Christopher Lewis said Harding committed the thefts hours after posting bail in Brunswick on charges of shoplifting from a Hannaford market there.
Lewis said Harding allegedly tried to return stolen items to Rite- Aid for cash.
Harding was unable to post $250 bail and was transported to Two Bridges Regional Jail where she remained until Friday, according to the jail.
