Carolyn Gorajek, who scored 45 goals and added 23 assists this spring, and her Bowdoin women’s lacrosse teammates made their fifth all-time appearance in the NCAA Division III tournament when they hosted Bridgewater State in a first round game Wednesday. If they advanced, the Polar Bears (13-3) would meet the winner of Susquehanna and Geneseo State at a to-be-determined location Saturday, with a regional final scheduled for Sunday. Bowdoin made it to the championship game as recently as two years ago.
