PORTLAND — A water main break on Congress Street near Davis Street has restricted inbound traffic to one lane Thursday morning.

Crews planned to work on the line throughout the day in an effort to get it repaired before the evening commute. The cause of the leak is not clear, the Portland Water District said.

The rupture, which the district reported at 10:15 a.m., has left 15 customers without water, according to the district.
