ROLLINSFORD, N.H. — A New Hampshire man charged in a vehicle collision that killed a woman on her honeymoon has been indicted on 14 counts in Strafford County Superior Court.

Forty-four-year-old Matthew Tsopas of Somersworth is accused of causing the death of 30-year-old Leah Fonda of St. Paul, Minn. She and her husband were on their honeymoon in New England when their car was struck on Route 4 in Rollinsford on July 20. Her husband, 30-year-old Brian Preiss, and Tsopas were hospitalized with injuries.

Foster’s Daily Democrat reports Tsopas has been indicted on a charge of manslaughter.

Tsopas, who is due in court in a week, also was indicted on charges of aggravated driving while intoxicated, reckless conduct, and others. His lawyer has filed a motion to reduce his bail.
