A four-car crash snarled afternoon traffic on Pleasant Street in Brunswick Wednesday. No serious injuries were reported. DARCIE MOORE/THE TIMES RECORD

BRUNSWICK — Three drivers were transported with non-life-threatening injuries Wednesday afternoon as a result of a four-vehicle crash on Pleasant Street.

The crash was reported at around 3 p.m. in front of The Brunswick Diner, located at 101 Pleasant St.  A car apparently struck the vehicle in front of it, causing it to hit the car in front and that car the car in front of it. Three drivers were transported to hospitals with non-serious injuries. The driver of the fourth car in line saw the vehicle behind her get struck but was stopped behind another car with no where to go. Her car sustained very minimal damage and she was not injured.

 

 

Brunswick police and Brunswick Fire and Rescue shut down the inner lanes of traffic in both directions after the crash to tend to patients so traffic was snarled but kept moving. No further information was available.
