BATH — Jessica Anne Homan-Bowman, 14, of Floral Street, died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, at her home in Bath.

She was born in Damariscotta on March 12, 1999, a daughter of Derrick R. Bowman and Cristal E. Ordung- Homan.

Jessica was a freshman at Morse High School in Bath. At the middle school she played field hockey and was a cheerleader.

Jessica’s favorite thing in the world was cats. She also enjoyed coloring her hair, almost on a weekly basis. She would get a new piercing every time she could talk her Mom into it. She enjoyed spending time with her many friends and this year had been teaching herself how to sing. She drank a half gallon of milk straight from the carton every day.

Jessica enjoyed swimming at her Dad’s house and arts and crafts. She had recently begun ballet lessons at Tonys Dance Fitness Studio in Bath.

She is survived by her mother, Cristal E. Ordung- Homan of Bath; her father, Derrick R. Bowman of Topsham; her brother, Jason R. Homan of Bath; her sister, Ashlee Bowman of Jacksonville, FL; her maternal grandparents, Michael Ordung of Derry, PA, and Kathy Ordung Rice and her husband William of Alna; her grandparents, Carol and Clark Kippenberger of Dresden; her maternal great-grandmother, Maxine Tornell and her husband Steven of Pepperell, MA; 13, aunts and uncles, Eric Bowman and his wife Betty of Bath, Marc Bowman and his wife Sabina of Topsham, Ben Ordung and his wife Kelly of Wiscasset, Candy Kippenberger of Brunswick, Tim Kippenberger of Dresden, Amber Kilgallon, Cara Kilgallon, Michael Kilgallon and Kaitlind Kilgallon, all of Pittsburg, PA, and Jared Gregory of Derry, PA and numerous cousins.

Visiting hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at Daigle Funeral Home, 819 High St., Bath. A celebration of Jessica’s life will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013, at Bath Middle School.
