YARMOUTH — Emily Johnson had three goals and two assists to lead Yarmouth/Freeport to an 11-0 victory over Portland/Deering in a girls’ hockey game Monday at Travis Roy Arena.
Georgia Griese added two goals, and Katie Brown and Ariel Potter each had a goal and two assists for the Clippers (5-0). Michelle Robichaud contributed four assists.
Portland/Deering is 0-3.
BOYS’ BASKETBALL
SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 53, GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 24: Logan Archer scored eight of his 11 points during the first half and Isaac LaCroix scored six of his 14 as Seacoast Christian (1-0) opened a 25-12 halftime lead over the Lions (0-3) in Eliot.
Ethan Spaudling’s 10 points led GPCS.
PINE TREE ACADEMY 37, A.R. GOULD 26: Jean-Pierre Tashamala and Chris Wilday each scored 10 points to lead the Breakers (2-0) over the Bears (0-1) in South Portland.
Gage Barton paced A.R. Gould with 10 points.
GIRLS’ BASKETBALL
SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 56, GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 46: Laken Kerrigan scored seven points in the fourth quarter as the Guardians (1-0) widened a 41-34 lead to a final 10-point margin against Greater Portland Christian (0-3) in Eliot.
Kerrigan finished with 17 points. Julia Lord added 14 and Cassie Smith scored 13.
Clarissa Jones scored 24 points and Ashlee Dawson had 13 for GPCS.
MADISON 67, TELSTAR 16: Bronte Elias led three players in double figures with 14 points to pace the Bulldogs (1-1) to a win over the Rebels (0-2) at Madison.
Cristie Vicneire added 13 points and Kayla Bess scored 12. Madeline Wood and Emily McKenney each grabbed six rebounds.
