AUGUSTA (AP) — Maine authorities have arrested ten people, including seven from Pennsylvania, on drug charges and say many of them are members of an out-of-state gang.

Police and Maine Drug Enforcement agents raided an Augusta house Wednesday and seized about 45 grams of heroin worth about $10,000.

Thirty-two-year-old Peter Gleason, who lived at the house, was charged with drug trafficking and 21- year-old Ryan Minoty, also of Augusta, was charged with drug possession. It was not immediately known if they were being representing by lawyers.

Six other people from Stroudsburg, Pa., and one from Mount Pocono, Pa., also were charged with aggravated drug trafficking. A 17-year-old female is facing the same charges.

Authorities say most of the suspects are part of a violent street gang known as the “Almighty Black P Stones.”
