BATH — The Mt. Ararat Middle School team pulled away throughout for a 50-33 victory over rival Bath on Wednesday.

The Eagles led 20-13 at the half. The Destroyers made a run in the third quarter to get close, but Mt. Ararat pulled away for the win.

The Eagles pressured the ball, leading to turnovers, with eight Mt. Ararat players getting in on the scoring. Michael Rogers and Ryan Mello contributed nine points each, while Peter Lavan added seven secondhalf points while playing solid defense. Greg Malin nailed a 3-pointer to close out the win, and Austin Malin had several rebounds.

Peter Onorato led Bath with 15 points.
