BRUNSWICK
Winter will make itself felt again this weekend into Monday, forecasters said.
Even as thousands remain without power from the effects of a 48-hour ice storm last Sunday into Monday, forecasters are predicting 3 to 5 inches of new snow, changing to a wintry mix, this Sunday into Monday.
The forecast for Brunswick on Sunday calls for periods of snow, heavy at times, changing to a wintry mix overnight. Low temperatures will reach 21 with winds north-northeast at 10 to 15 mph.
Snow and ice will accumulate 3 to 5 inches.
The Brunswick area received 3 to 5 inches of fresh snow Thursday but was spared the worst of the power outages from last weekend’s ice.
