A woman suffered minor injuries Sunday night after a bullet fired from outside a home in Brunswick went through a window and struck a television, police said. The shattered glass from the TV hit her in the face.
Officers from the Brunswick Police Department responded to the shooting at 37 McLellan St. just after 10 p.m.
The officers determined that a bullet had been fired through a window of the home, went through the TV and into an interior wall.
Four people were in the house at the time, including the 20-year-old woman, who was not identified.
A K-9 unit from the Freeport Police Department responded and assisted Brunswick officers in their search for the shooter. The investigation is continuing.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Brunswick police at 725-5521.
