WELLS — Some Wells High School students’ artwork was recently honored in the Scholastic Arts competition, according to art teacher Vanessa White Capelluti.

Bethany Berger got an honorable mention in the digital art category and a Silver Key in the mixed media category; Sarah Berger got a Gold Key in the photography category; Helana Griffith got an honorable mention in the photography category; Allivia Lorusso got an honorable mention in the photography category; and Brooke Nucci got an honorable mention in the digital art category and an honorable mention in mixed media. All of the students are in 11th grade.

As a Gold Key recipient, Sarah Berger will advance to compete at the national level.

For the Youth Art Month Exhibit at the Portland Museum of Art, Alison Furness was selected to have her artwork on display. Her work will be on display throughout the month of March.
