John Densmore, best known as the drummer of The Doors, will visit Bull Moose, 151 Maine Street in Brunswick, for an in-store autograph signing on Tuesday, June 3 at 7 p.m. Densmore will sign his book “ The Doors: Unhinged” ( Bull Moose will have plenty on hand for $ 9.72), and one additional item. Bull Moose will have copies of previous releases from The Doors available as well.
Densmore visits Brunswick on the heels of a European tour. After developing a love for music at an early age, Densmore played with The Doors from 1965 through the early 1970s, before pursuing an interest in reggae and forming a new band with former Doors guitarist Robby Krieger.
Later, Densmore turned to theater, writing and acting in a number of performances that gained national recognition through the early 1990s. In recent years, Densmore collaborated with electronic musician Skrillex in the documentary “ RE: GENERATION.”
